The Experience
You’ll meet up with your guide to begin a two-hour walk straight through the heart of royal Westminster. The route covers over a thousand years of history as you move between palaces, parks, and historic streets.
Your guide walks you past St James's Palace to share stories about Henry VIII and Charles I before you move on to see Lancaster House and Buckingham Palace. You'll also get a look at Clarence House, where King Charles III resides, as you head through Green Park toward Whitehall.
A major highlight of the walk is catching the Changing of the Guard. If you book for a Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday, you'll see the Foot Guards in their traditional red tunics and bearskin hats. On other days, you’ll watch the mounted Household Cavalry perform their ceremony at Horse Guards Parade.
As the tour wraps up, you’ll walk past Westminster Abbey and finish near Westminster Station, right opposite Big Ben, leaving you in a central spot to carry on exploring the city.
